          • PRAYER

          • Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you!” (3 Jn 2). The understanding of our rootedness in God enables our hearts connected in prayer for one another.

          • SOLIDARITY

          • By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another (Jn 13:35). The identity of Christian discipleship unfolds in love.

          • How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news?” (Rm 10:15). We, who are called in baptism, are constantly sent forth in mission, that we may reach out to everyone in need.

Strengthening the Spirit of Service: Communio Directors and Coordinators Come Together

On 21st June 2025, the spirit of collaboration and mission was once again alive and active as the Communio Volunteer Coordinators came together—both offline at the CCBI Office in Bangalore and online—to plan and reflect on the journey ahead.

The day began with a physical gathering at the CCBI Centre, Bangalore where Fr. Vignan Das, Sr. Margarita, and Adv. Anthony Judy met to lay the groundwork for upcoming initiatives. The focus of the meeting was the forthcoming Follow-Up Programme for Communio Volunteers, scheduled for later this year.

Later in the evening, an online coordination meeting was held via Zoom and WhatsApp, bringing together:

  • Fr. Vignan Das
  • Sr. Margarita
  • Jessica – Batch 1 Coordinator
  • Maria Purti – Batch 2 Coordinator
  • Apurva – Batch 3 Coordinator
  • Anthony Judy – Coordinator for All Batches

This online gathering served as an important space for discussion, planning, and mutual encouragement. Sr. Margarita presented the agenda for the upcoming monthly online gatherings, and the group exchanged reflections on volunteer engagement, participation, and spiritual formation.

Each coordinator contributed valuable insights, sharing their experiences and offering creative ideas to strengthen communication and involvement across batches. The conversation was marked by openness, unity, and a shared commitment to the values of Communio—Prayer, Solidarity and Mission.

The dual meetings—offline in the morning and online in the evening—reflect the deep dedication of the Communio leadership team. Through meaningful conversations and collaborative planning, they continue to build a movement that not only supports the Church’s mission in India but also nurtures the hearts of those called to serve.

As we move forward in 2025, these moments of planning and prayer remind us that the journey of mission is never walked alone. United in Christ and rooted in communion, we go forth—together.
