Itanagar, August 12, 2024: 17 Communio volunteers having completed their missionary training in Goa arrived at the Inspiration Building in Kharguli, Guwahati on August 10, for a ten day missionary exposure in the Diocese of Itanagar and Arunachal Pradesh from 11 to 21 August 2024.
During their stay, volunteers will reside in various villages where they will engage with the local faithful, sharing their own faith experiences and listening to the faith stories of the faithful in various mission stations of Itanagar Diocese. This exposure program is also a cultural exchange, aimed at deepening mutual understanding and solidarity.
Accompanied by Fr. Chetan Machado, the National Youth Director of the CCBI National Youth Commission, Fr. Dominic Pinto, Assistant National Youth Director, Fr. Vignan Das, Communio Associate Director and the NEXCO members. The Communio volunteers will return to their home dioceses to share their experiences and inspire their communities.
